Lead Designer - Laura Wilkinson

I decided to start Return To Nature Designs because I am incredibly passionate about design & our environment. When I began my studies I initially worked on interiors, but the ever stronger pull of nature brought me into the outdoors so I continued my studies further, completing another degree in Outdoor Living Design.

As a child I worked with my father who was a property developer, renovating throughout the holidays. It drove my passion for creation, and I moved from strength to strength on project after project until I finished high school. In College I undertook studies in 3D Design & Art, passing with a distinction and progressed onto the Interior Design with Property Development Degree. After the degree, I felt the course didn’t fully align with my passions, so I undertook a FDA in Interior Design with Sustainability and further Degree in Outdoor Living Design in 2024 which I finally felt was in alignment with what I love and what I want to put out into the world.

I have an incredible passion for all things Nature and love gardening, but I have extensive experience in all aspects of habitable design and ergonomics which gives me the edge when designing the perfect outdoor living space for anybody’s needs.

Being a keen gardener I have amassed a good amount of knowledge about plants but to top up my knowledge getting horticulture qualifications has set me up to answer most questions confidently.
